In this, we also learn how to do soldering and testing of PCB and how to operate this \u003cstrong\u003eReal Light Vehicle \u003c\/strong\u003eKit with a power supply.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn the Kit\u003cstrong\u003e Anti Collision Real Light\u003c\/strong\u003e the IR transmitter-receiver pair detects the presence and absence of obstacle and generates an analog voltage. This analog variation is converted into digital form using a dual op-amp IC LM358. The op-amp is used as a comparator in the inverting mode to do so. In this operation, we set a reference voltage with the preset. If the analog voltage from the sensor is less than Vref then the output is logically high on pin 7 of LM358 IC else it is low. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe analog input is connected to pin 6 of LM358 IC. The output from the LM358 drives the ULN2803 IC. It is an inverted IC means when input is low output is high and vice versa.
