Description

XL6009 module is a non-isolated step-up boost voltage converter featuring adjustable output voltage, high efficiency. It converts the input voltage of 5-32V DC to an output voltage of 4-38V DC. It is an ultra-high switching frequency of 400KHz, even if small capacity filtering capacitors can achieve very good results, the wave is smaller.

DC-DC Step-up Boost Power Converter Module module comes with the third generation high-frequency switching technology as the core chip, the performance is much higher than LM2577. When using these modules remember that the output current will be a lot less than the input current, (remember - W = VA). For example, if you have a 10V output at 1A from a 5V input, the input current will be around 3.6A. The real-life maximum amount of power you can get out of these things is around 10W. Its output current is greater than 2.5A (or output power greater than 10W) to work long hours, please add a heat sink.

The compact and lightweight

It is a very practical compact circuit, I will try them later to turn on an audio amplifier.

Worked better than I hoped

I've used these types of boosters before and have had lack luster performance. These worked perfectly for what I wanted. I was able to use 2 18650 batteries to increase the voltage to 36 volts to power an LED light strip I wanted to convert to battery operated.I was able to adjust the power to 38 volts. I don't know if the others will go that high as I was only expecting 35 volts. Regardless, it performed well and doesn't get hot since I'm only drawing milliamps of current.These are going into my buy again listing should I need boosters in the future.
