The YDLIDAR SDM15 is a high-precision single-point laser ranging module based on Time-of-Flight (TOF) technology. It supports ROS and ROS2, offering strong stability, fast response, and excellent anti-glare capabilities. With a sampling frequency of up to 1.8kHz and a detection range of up to 15 meters, the SDM15 is optimized for both indoor and outdoor use.This compact sensor module is ideal for fixed-height UAV obstacle avoidance, robot navigation, home service robots, and sweeping robots. It is lightweight, easy to install using standard flat screw mounting, and supports development environments such as Linux, STM32, ROS, and ROS2.
