This means that two people cannot have identical finger marks whatsoever. In the analysis of fingerprint attendance system project, the machine compares several patterns of fingers along with their constructions and properties of human skins. When the finger matched gate will be open for that person and his attendee will be counted automatically.

In the kit fingerprint based attendance system the fingerprint scanner is there to scan the fingerprint of the person. The scanner itself searches inside it for the index number of the user and forwards it to the microcontroller. The microcontroller reads the index number and sends this information to the computer on serial port. The gate is opened and attendance information is sent to the PC.
