Scrolling message display

Description

The main objective of this Kit Scrolling message display is to design a system with the help of which we can display the data on a display device by writing the data on PC. The interface is should be easy so that a layperson can also use the system effectively. Although there is no limitation of features of the interface, we will focus on sending data from the computer to the device. The interface can be designed using any language as per requirements.

In the scrolling message display kit,  the interfacing is based on UART standards. The UART port is found in microcontrollers but unfortunately, it is not there in personal computers. Hence we have used a USB to UART converter to convert the USB data into UART and this way the interfacing is done between computer and microcontroller. The use will type the data in PC which will send via USB port to the microcontroller and the microcontroller will display the data on LCD. The data sent will also scroll on LCD.
