Smart Vehicle Using DTMF
The main concept of this kit is car automation with obstacle avoidance each key on the cell phone keypad has a distinct sound (called DTMF tones). All we have to do is decode this tone. This Smart Vehicle Using DTMF can be done by CM8870 IC (DTMF decoder) which converts received frequency (tones) in the corresponding binary units. This sound can be used to identify the key pressed using an M8870 DTMF decoder. Here the sound is firstly pre-amplified by the microphone unit.
In the Smart Vehicle Using DTMF kit car automation with obstacle avoidance, this sound is now fed into the M8870 IC which decodes them in the form of a binary sequence. These decoded binary sequences are fed into the microcontroller. The controller gives the control signal to the motor driver to move the vehicle platform. There is an IR-based sensing unit that will detect the obstacle and if an obstacle is present the vehicle will be in a stop state.

Description
In the kit car automation with obstacle avoidance, we will be designing an electronic interface, in which you can control any system from a remote location by using your mobile phone. This Smart Vehicle Using DTMF kit is intended to make the car automatic. We can control the car using a laptop with a DTMF interface/remote location mobile. The concept behind the controller is to use the DTMF tone which is transmitted in an infinite range using mobile communication. We can connect the kit with the laptop also to control it if we have a DTMF generating tone. There is also an obstacle sensor that can sense the obstacle with which we can sense the obstacle nearby. The main concept of this kit is car automation with obstacle avoidance each key on the cell phone keypad has a distinct sound (called DTMF tones).
