The working principle of this Gas Leakage Alarm Sensor is that it converts the heat generated by the combustion of this gas into voltage. Depending on the amount of gas present, this sensor gives an analog variation of the voltage on its data pin. This is done through op-amp used in comparator where we compare the analog voltage with a reference voltage calibrated through a 10K preset. If the Vip>Vref output is high else the output is low (high specify gas leakage and low no leakage).

The op-amp IC used is LM324 (quad op-amp IC) and the mode of its operation is non-inverting. The digital data from the op-amp IC is interfaced with the output device. Red led is glowing when gas is leakage and the buzzer will be a beep. If there is no Leakage Of Gas then the output will be low otherwise high.
