Description

Fire alarm device works on the principle of IR sensors. Fires contain a large amount of Infrared (IR) signals. In case the fire is detected, the buzzer beeps, and the LED gets turned on. The fire alarm circuit is made from good quality material.

The resistance of IR sensors decreases, as the IR rays fall on them. The fire alarm is clear from the given circuit diagram that if the resistance of the IR sensor decreases, the voltage V3 will increase as it forms a resistance divider network. Hence as soon as the fire is detected, the v3 increases, and hence the transistor gets turned on and the buzzer LED also gets turned on.
