The 1.3-inch White OLED display module features a resolution of 128×64 pixels and can be easily interfaced with any microcontroller using SPI/IIC protocols. This module comes with a display board, a display, and a 6-pin male header pre-soldered to the board for easy integration. OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) technology is a self-light-emitting technology, meaning it does not require a backlight, unlike traditional LCD displays. The display utilizes organic materials arranged between a cathode and anode, creating a thin, multi-layered film. When an electric voltage is applied, holes and electrons are injected into the Emission Layer (EML), where they combine to form excitons, resulting in electroluminescence. The quality of OLED components depends on the materials used for the transfer, emission layers, and electrodes. This technology offers significant advantages for next-generation flat-panel displays, providing better brightness, contrast, and power efficiency compared to LCD.
