Description
Mini Project: Railway Track Power Generation
The Power Generation Using Suspension project is an innovative engineering model designed to convert the vertical vibration and shock movement of a vehicle’s suspension into electrical energy. Whenever a vehicle moves on uneven roads, the suspension continuously compresses and expands. This wasted mechanical energy can be harvested and converted into useful electrical power.
In this prototype, a spring-loaded suspension unit is connected to a rack-and-pinion or lever mechanism that rotates a DC generator. When the suspension moves up and down, it drives the gears, causing the motor to generate electricity. The output can be stored in batteries or used to power small devices such as LEDs, sensors, or indicators—making the system ideal for real-world energy recovery in automobiles.

Features
Suspension for Energy Storage
It makes power by moving back and forth with the vehicle's suspension, which would otherwise go to waste.
A Lever That Has a Rack-and-Pinion System To turn linear motion into rotational motion, a DC generator uses a mechanical connection.
Using a DC Motor to Make Power When a DC motor spins, it makes electricity that can be used to power small devices or charge batteries.
Power That Lasts When the car goes over bumps, potholes, or uneven ground, it makes power.
