GPS and GSM based guiding system for blind person.

Description

Any person who wants to guide the person will have to send an SMS to the device; the device in turn will send the current location in terms of latitude and longitude via SMS. If the person wants to give some instruction to the blind person, he can send any predefined SMS, and the corresponding tone will be generated there. The guiding system for blind persons based on GPS, GSM making a device for guiding a blind person is a challenging task. Here we have designed a device that can help blind persons a lot. The blind person will have to carry this device with him. 

In the kit guiding system for a blind person based on GPS, GSM there is a GPS receiver attached with the microcontroller will keep sending its current position to the microcontroller. An LCD is there to display the current position. A GSM modem is there attached serially with the microcontroller which can receive and send the SMS. The buzzer is there which can produce tones of different frequencies.
