Pneumatic Jack– Project Description
A pneumatic jack is a tool that lifts things by using compressed air. In this project model, a strong steel frame holds a pneumatic cylinder in place and connects it to a pump that can be operated by foot. When you press the pump, air that has been compressed moves into the cylinder and pushes the piston up. This movement raises the top platform and the object on it.
The jack works because of Pascal's Law, which says that pressure on a fluid that is confined spreads evenly in all directions. This means that a small amount of work at the pump can lift a much heavier load. Pneumatic jacks are often used in vehicle repair shops and industrial maintenance areas where quick and safe lifting is needed.
