RDS5180 80kg Robot Digital Servo - 180 Degree

The RDS5180 is a high-torque robot digital servo designed for demanding robotic positioning and mechanical motion-control applications. It operates from 6V to 8.4V and delivers up to 105 kg-cm stall torque at 8.4V. Its 357 gear ratio, double-bearing construction, and 3-pole motor provide a robust drive arrangement for applications requiring high output torque.

At 6V, the servo provides a no-load speed of 0.24 sec/60° with 85 kg-cm stall torque; at 7.4V it reaches 0.21 sec/60° with 98 kg-cm stall torque; and at 8.4V it reaches 0.19 sec/60° with 105 kg-cm stall torque. Position control uses a PWM interface with a 500-2500 µsec pulse-width range, 1500 µsec neutral position, 3 µsec dead-band width, and 50-330 Hz operating-frequency range.
