This Level Converter- 2 Channel features two high-speed bi-directional 2 channels, allowing for safe and easy communication between devices operating at different logic levels.

The logic level converter circuit converts signals as low as 1.8 V to as high as 5 V and vice versa, and its two channels are enough to support most common bidirectional and unidirectional digital interfaces, including I²C, SPI, and asynchronous TTL serial.

I needed a 5v to 3.3v level converter for I2C and UART communication.This product worked as expected in both directions.There is a silkscreen on the back with the pinout on it.

These work!

I don't know what thickness and sheerness have to do with level shifting, but that's me. I bought these to drive LEDs from a 3.3 volt micro GPIO and they work very well. The LEDs are driven from 5 volts, so their 3.1 volt threshold @25 ma. is handled.
