Specification

Description

This circuit can be used to demonstrate the concept of using resistances in series and parallel. If the resistance is connected in series, the overall value of the resistance gets increased. If these are connected in parallel the overall value gets decreases. In the given circuit, if S2, S3, S4 are opened. The resistance R1 and R2 get connected in series. If the S2 is closed and S3 and S4 are closed, then R2, R3, and R4 get connected in parallel. The intensity of LED can be seen increasing for different connections. If the equivalent resistance gets increased, the intensity of the LED will decrease and if the equivalent resistance gets decreased, the intensity of the LED will increase.
