Description

The AND gate is a basic digital logic gate that implements logical conjunction. A HIGH output (1) results only if all the inputs to the AND gate are HIGH (1). If none or not all inputs to the AND gate are HIGH, LOW output results. 

This Transistor as a AND gate circuit is self-descriptive, unless both the switches S2 and S3 are closed, one of the transistors remains off and output remains low. As soon as both the switches are closed simultaneously, both transistors conduct, and V5 goes too high.
