IR Emitter and Receiver Pairs: The module includes eight pairs of TCRT5000 sensors, arranged in a row. Each pair consists of an IR LED and an IR phototransistor. The IR LEDs emit infrared light, and the phototransistors detect the reflected IR light.

Detection Principle: The module relies on the principle of detecting the amount of reflected IR light. When the module is placed in front of a surface or object, the IR light emitted by the LEDs reflects differently depending on the color, reflectivity, and distance of the object. Dark or nearby objects will reflect less IR light compared to lighter or distant objects.

Analog Output: Each pair of TCRT5000 sensors on the module generates an analog voltage signal proportional to the amount of reflected IR light. The voltage level varies based on the reflectivity and distance of the objects in front of the sensors.

Multiple Channels: The module provides eight separate sensor channels, allowing you to detect variations in IR reflection at different points simultaneously. This is useful for detecting obstacles or objects in multiple directions.
