The 400W DC-DC Boost (Step-Up) Converter Module is a high-power adjustable DC-DC converter designed to increase a lower DC input voltage to a higher DC output voltage. It supports both Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) adjustment, making it suitable for power supplies, battery charging, LED driving, solar applications, and other high-power electronic projects.

The module accepts an input voltage of approximately 8.5V to 50V DC and provides an adjustable output voltage of approximately 10V to 60V DC. As this is a Boost / Step-Up converter, the required output voltage should be set higher than the input voltage.

It features heavy-duty screw terminals for convenient input and output wiring, along with two large aluminium heat sinks for improved heat dissipation. The module can achieve conversion efficiency of up to approximately 96%, depending on input voltage, output voltage, current, load, and operating conditions.

Output Voltage / Current Adjustment

  • Use the CV-ADJ potentiometer to adjust the required output voltage.
  • Measure the output voltage with a multimeter before connecting the load.
  • Use the CC-ADJ potentiometer to set the required maximum output current.
  • For battery charging, first set the correct charging voltage and current according to the battery specifications.
  • Ensure that the selected output voltage is higher than the input voltage because this is a Boost / Step-Up converter.
  • Use adequate cooling and suitable wiring when operating the module at high current or high power.
