Specification

Description

The 1 Channel 5V Relay Module is designed to control high voltage and high current devices through a low voltage digital signal. This specific module is triggered by a low-level signal and does not include an optocoupler, making it straightforward and cost-effective for various applications.

Applications:

Home Automation:Controlling lights, fans, and other home appliances.

Industrial Automation: Switching motors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.

Microcontroller Projects: Interface with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers to control high voltage devices.

Remote Control Systems: Used in systems where devices are controlled remotely.

Features:

Low-Level Trigger: The relay is activated when the input signal is low (0V or ground).

Single Channel: Controls one relay, suitable for simple switching applications.

High Power Capability: Can switch loads up to 10A at 250V AC or 30V DC.

Simple Design: Does not include an optocoupler, reducing cost and complexity.

Indicator LED: Often includes an LED to indicate the relay status (on/off). Screw Terminals: Provides easy and secure connections for the relay outputs.

Used to control power to my 3D printer using M80 and M81 gcode commands.

I actually purchased this relay not expecting to use the LOW trigger option. I actually just wanted a simple 5v relay that I planned to control via Mosfet.

They work like they are supposed to

I used this to trigger the sleep mode of a Crown XLS series pro amp in a home audio application. Works great and now I don't have to turn off and on the amp every time I want to use it, it just turns on and off when the receiver turns on and off. I got the 5V version just because my receiver happened to have a switched 5V USB port on the back. No complaints, worked like a charm. Been using it for a few weeks now without any issues.

Great for Arduino control of Mains voltages

Great for Arduino controlled devices that need Mains voltage. I used one of these to control the pump on my hydroponic system triggered by an Arduino microcontroller and it worked great.

Works as it should

So far they work as they should. I will update if they stop working.

Good. Compact. Easy to Use.

I'm buying another pair for another project. Well designed and work as advertised. Easier and cheaper than buying the parts and making my own board...

Did what I needed

I needed a relay to trigger a 12 volt item based on a 5 volt output from a computer. This worked perfectly! Having the 3 wires on the 5 volt input side was a bit odd for me, but reading other reviews and questions I was able to figure it out by simply jumpering between the +5V and the signal input (since I was signaling high).

Works good

I've been using one of these in a raspberry pi project to turn a water pump on and off and it has been working just fine for awhile now.

Exactly what I needed, works great

Using one of these with an arduino to turn off my 3d printer using Octoprint. The other I'm usign to turn on/off lighting.Works great, would recommend

Good quality

Any 5v input would trigger the relay. It works as it should. I would definitely buy again.

Good quality for the price

Just what my son needed for a freshman Engineering project.
