Cellphone operated robot
In a Cell phone-operated Robot that DTMF tone commands are sent to the microcontroller. A microcontroller is then programmed to recognize those commands to operate DC motors. These DC motors are operated by motor driver IC L293D for any direction movement of the robot as per the sent commands from the senders mobile. Further the project can be enhanced by interfacing it with additional motors for multipurpose activity.

Description
The Cell phone operated Robot is controlled by a mobile phone. We have simply needed to make a call to the mobile phone attached to the Robot (Through headphones) from any phone. This call sends a DTMF tone on pressing the numeric buttons. The mobile phone in the Robot is kept in “Auto answer mode”. Now we press any button on your mobile to perform the actions. The DTMF tone thus produced is received by mobile phone on the robot side. This DTMF tone is decoded by the CM8870 DTMF decoder IC and sends the equivalent binary number to the microcontroller.
