GPS based navigation system
The GPS-based navigation system is the convergence of several technologies that can be merged to create systems that track inventory, livestock, or ¬vehicle fleets. Similar systems can be created to deliver location-based services to wireless devices. Current technologies being used to create location-tracking and location-based systems include.
The GPS-based system's main objective of the data coming from the GPS receiver is in the form of serial data with the RS232 standard. If we want to interface the GPS with the microcontroller then we will have to connect an IC MAX232 for level conversion. This will be connected in a serial interfacing block. After the microcontroller keeps on receiving the data from the GPS and as soon as it receives the correct format of data, it stores it and displays it on the LCD. Hence we get the latitude and longitude of the current location.

Description
This GPS-based navigation system kit is a very useful kit for a person to find out his position. It is used in navigation systems. The GPS system uses satellites the find out the position of the device. The positions are sent in the form of latitude and longitude. Here the GPS device used to send the data in its own format, we have to filter the data and display the latitude and longitude only. Location tracking is not one, single technology. The GPS-based navigation system is the convergence of several technologies that can be merged to create systems that track inventory, livestock, or ¬vehicle fleets.
