Working Principle
The working principle of the DIY Water Level Alarm relies on the movement of a float ball and a COM-NO-NC switch (Common-Normally Open-Normally Closed) to monitor water levels. As the water level rises, the float ball floats upward, activating the switch. This causes the Normally Open (NO) contact to close, completing the circuit and triggering the buzzer or alarm. Simultaneously, the Normally Closed (NC) contact opens, breaking its circuit to deactivate any other connected devices. When the water level falls, the float ball lowers, deactivating the switch. This opens the NO contact, breaking the circuit and silencing the alarm, while the NC contact closes, resetting the system. This mechanism ensures that the water level is constantly monitored, providing timely alerts to prevent overflows.Advantages of This Science Project
