The SN04-P Inductive Proximity Sensor is a compact non-contact sensor designed for detecting ferrous metal objects in automation and control applications. It features a PNP Normally Open (NO) output, a 5mm sensing distance, and operates on a DC 6V to 36V supply. With its block-type ABS housing and 3-wire connection, this sensor is suitable for position sensing, counting, limit detection, and machine automation systems.

This inductive sensor offers reliable detection of metal targets without physical contact, helping reduce wear and improve durability in industrial and DIY applications. The brown wire is used for positive supply, the blue wire is connected to 0V, and the black wire serves as the PNP output signal. When a ferrous metal object enters the sensing range, the sensor switches ON and provides a positive output signal.
