DescriptionInfrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module (Active Low) can be widely used in robot obstacle prevention, obstacle avoidance, line counting, black and white line tracking, and so on. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. When the transmitted light waves are reflected back, the reflected IR waves will be received by the receiver tube. The onboard comparator circuitry does the processing and the green indicator LED comes to life.
The IR Sensor Module features a 3 wire interface with Vcc, GND, and an OUTPUT pin on its tail. It works fine with 3.3 to 5V levels. Upon hindrance/reflectance, the output pin gives out a digital signal (a low-level signal). The onboard preset helps to fine-tune the range of operation, the effective distance range is 2cm to 80cm. IR sensor module can be applied for 3-5V DC power supply modules; there is a red power indicator.
- Easy to assemble and use

Integration with Rasberry Pi
Good quality sensors. Better than average.
It works well, however hardly beyond 10 cm unless you approach a mirror or a reflective metal. For the rest, excellent value for money.
These work well, but they do draw a lot of current. I had all ten plugged in and my little power supply got very hot.
Parts seem very high quality, cane quickly and I'm happy with them.
Had no issue hooking up or using these sensors with an arduino. Made a couple of line follower robots that worked very well.
Ive bought these from kitsguru before. I had absolutely no problems with the first batch, so I bought from them again. So far, no problems with these, either.
