The JDY-23 Bluetooth Module is a compact, low-power wireless communication module based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 protocol. It operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band and supports transparent UART data transmission, making it ideal for IoT devices, wireless data links, and embedded applications. Overview

The JDY-23 module supports BLE 5.0 and is backward compatible with BLE 4.0 and BLE 4.2 devices. It features a built-in PCB antenna, GFSK modulation, and stable wireless performance with a transmission range of up to 60 meters in open environments. Working Principle

The JDY-23 Bluetooth module works by converting UART serial data from a microcontroller into Bluetooth Low Energy wireless signals using the BLE 5.0 protocol. Data transmitted via the TX pin is wirelessly sent over the 2.4 GHz band and received by a paired BLE device, where it is output transparently through UART. Configuration parameters such as baud rate, device name, and connection behavior can be adjusted using AT commands, enabling flexible and quick integration into wireless embedded systems.
