The MG-811 module integrates the MG-811 metal oxide gas sensor along with an onboard heating and signal conditioning circuit. It offers high sensitivity to CO₂ while being less sensitive to alcohol and carbon monoxide. As the CO₂ concentration increases, the analog output voltage decreases.
The module also features a TTL digital output with an adjustable threshold using the onboard potentiometer. When the set CO₂ level is reached, the indicator LED turns ON and the digital output goes HIGH. This sensor is widely used in air quality monitoring, greenhouses, medical devices, and environmental control systems.

MG-811 Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Gas Sensor Module
The MG-811 Carbon Dioxide Sensor Module is designed for accurate detection of carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration with a wide sensing range and stable performance. This sensor works on the principle of infrared (IR) absorption, where CO₂ molecules absorb specific wavelengths of infrared radiation, enabling reliable gas concentration measurement.The MG-811 module integrates the MG-811 metal oxide gas sensor along with an onboard heating and signal conditioning circuit.
