The wireless transceiver module, based on Silicon Labs' Si4432 IC, operates at 433.92 MHz with a maximum output power of +20 dBm, making it suitable for RF signal amplification. It supports multiple modulation modes (FSK, GFSK, OOK) and offers a data transfer rate of 0.123-256 kbps, with a sensitivity of up to -121 dBm. Powered by 1.8-3.6V, the module includes a low-power shutdown mode. Its 14-pin configuration supports various functions like power supply, digital inputs/outputs, and antenna connection. It’s ideal for applications such as remote control, industrial control, and sensor networks.Principle of Work:
The Si4432 is a highly configurable transceiver that operates on a frequency range of 240-960 MHz and supports FSK, GFSK, and OOK modulation. It supports up to 20dBm output power, which makes it possible to transmit signals over long distances. To interface with the module, you will need to connect it to a microcontroller via a four-wire serial interface, which includes serial data input (SDI), serial data output (SDO), serial clock (SCLK), and chip select (nSEL) pins. The module also provides an interrupt output (nIRQ) pin to indicate when data is available for transmission or reception. The Si4432 module can be controlled by sending and receiving commands and data through the serial interface. For example, to transmit data, the microcontroller sends a command to the module to set the frequency, modulation type, and output power. Then, it sends the data to be transmitted through the serial interface. When the transmission is complete, the module sends an interrupt to the microcontroller indicating the status of the transmission. To receive data, the module continuously monitors the airwaves for incoming signals. When a signal is detected, the module decodes it and sends the received data to the microcontroller through the serial interface.
