The Strain Gauge Bending Sensor Module Y3 is designed to measure strain, force, pressure, tension, or weight on an object. It utilizes the BF350-3AA strain gauge and includes an onboard amplifier and potentiometer to adjust the measured output. The sensor converts mechanical deformation into a change in electrical resistance, which can then be measured via its analog output.

The strain gauge operates on the principle that the electrical conductance of a conductor depends on its geometry: when stretched, the conductor becomes longer and narrower within its elastic limits. This module features analog output proportional to bending, zero potentiometer for calibration, and an onboard LED power indicator. Reverse polarity protection ensures safety during operation.
