Description
AT24C256 Serial EEPROM Module can store data permanently unless you erase, and won’t lose when power off. Normal Arduino only has 512 bytes of data space, it won’t be enough, but maybe you think a gigabyte SD card is too much. The 256Kb EEPROM will be very suitable for the small amount of data storage.If you need to do some data storage in Arduino but found that the EEPROM in the ATmega chip is too limited, then this I2C EEPROM module is your best choice. This EEPROM memory module is based on the EEPROM chip AT24C256, which has 256k bit capacity. It communicates with Arduino with the I2C bus, which helps you do much more data storage easily.

It's tiny and works well. It would have been better if the i2c and power pins where not soldered already it would be better to have them stick out on the bottom of the board so it works in a breadboard right side up.

Works perfectly no problems finding code to work and play around with,reading and writing to the chip sectors,great for adding extra memory to micro controllers,and can easily be removed from the DIP seat for connection to your own circuits.
