Automatic Three Phase Changeover
This Automatic Three Phase Changeover Kit is a prototype for the same which is auto change over to generator when the main supply fails. In this system, we are designing an embedded circuit to control this. In case there are two phases, then the switching will be in the default phase. Three relays are there to control the switching.
This system can be used to automate the electrical system where switching is required. It also serves for safety in heavy industrial duty. Manual changeover can be replaced by the automatic changeover in the home. The main part of the kit is the microcontroller. We have to convert the 220 V ac supply to 5 v dc from each phase. This 5v supply is given to the microcontroller and it is programmed to fulfill the above requirements. The output of the microcontroller is given to the ULN2803 relay driver. The relay finally selects the phase in terms of the ac voltage.
