Cell phone based circuit breaker
The design of cell phone-based circuit breaker functions as a unique password must be entered through the keypad of the cell phone to activate/deactivate the circuit breaker. This code is checked by the microcontroller. If the code is correct then the circuit opens or closes.
Each key of the password is identified with a frequency which is decoded to digital code through DTMF (digital tone multi-frequency) decoder and that code is fed to a microcontroller which is programmed to recognize the code for operating the circuit breaker duly interfaced through driver IC for the load. The Cell phone-based circuit breaker system can be used to close/break the circuit according to maintenance requirements in industrial heavy voltage circuits.

The person who wants to close or break the circuit calls at the mobile attached to the system.
