The Energy Monitoring and Control System will check for consumption on the basis of load and the recharge available. The power will be available till the recharge amount does not end. There is a feature that if there is any interruption with the meter an SMS will be sent to the user for control.
The Energy Monitoring and Control System Project basically depends upon the energy units we use. In this project, the power supply is cut-off after a particular unit. The operator sitting at a remote station can recharge the system using SMS. Here the microcontroller keeps on sensing the load also. As the load increases, it will turn off the relay, and hence the power will be cut. As soon as the load gets decreased, the controller can turn on the relay also. Description
The energy meter is an electrical measuring device, which is used to record Electrical Energy Consumed over a specified period of time in terms of units. Here we have an energy meter using the current sensing concept. This energy meter is prepaid that is recharged and used. The recharge can be done by sending a simple SMS from your mobile phone.
