Home automation may also allow vital home functions to be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world using a computer connected to the Internet. Besides the functions already mentioned, remote control can be extended to telephones and answering machines, fax machines, amateur radios, and other communications equipment, and home robots such as automatic vacuum cleaners. Through this kit, we presented a prototype of Home Automation.
In this home automation system kit, we are controlling the system with the help of a touch screen. As we press the button on the touch screen it generates signals and sends them to the microcontroller. The microcontroller sends the proper data to the relay driver. The data of the relay driver is sent to the relay which is connected to the particular appliance either gets energized or de-energized. This leads to the switching. This kit is also introducing the use of embedded technology and its importance in electronics.
