Load based traffic monitoring system

Description

In this kit load based traffic monitoring system there are several switches connected to the microcontroller so depending upon the load on traffic switches will enable which will drive the relay. In relay there are 2 lights attached to it Green and Red. So, depending upon the load on traffic that bulb will glow on priority basis and if the load on traffic in different places will equal then this bulb will be blow at particular interval. It can be operated in normal mode in which the switching will be on the timing basis rather than priority basis.

In the kit load based traffic monitoring system the microswitches are momentary switches, which become continuous as long as they are kept pressed. Hence, as the load on switches increases, more and more number of switches gets pressed. By reading the number of switches pressed, the microcontroller can determine the traffic load. There are lights of two colors red and green on each side of the traffic. These are controlled by relay. To drive the relays, relay driver is there. Led indicators are there to shown the current status. A selector is there by which the system can be switched between automatic and priority mode.
