The Smart Tourist Guide corresponding location name for each id is displayed on the LCD.4 bit data is encoded with an 8-bit address and converted into serial data. This serial data is fed to the RF transmitter module. The RF transmitter module converts this electrical data into RF frequency, ASK modulation is used.
This Smart Tourist Guide serial data is received by the RF receiver module and again converted into electrical form and given to the ht 12d IC. The ht12d IC decodes this data into 4 bits of data if the address bit is matched with its own address lines. This 4 bit of data is given to the microcontroller. The location name is displayed on the LCD.

Description
The Smart Tourist Guide kit is based on the working of encoder-decoder IC pairs, HT12E and HT12D. These ices have the capability to encode/decode 4 bits of data and 8 bits of an address. Using these combinations, we can distinguish the different items uniquely. Each id is made with an RF transmitter and HT12E IC. The receiver keeps on receiving the id of different transmitters.
