Speed Checker for Highway

In this kit, the main objective of the Speed checker and over speed detection for Highways have a vehicle speed limit on them. Because of safety considerations, it is important that these regulations are properly implemented. This kit is very useful for such purposes. It can be used to measure the speed of vehicles crossing by on the highways. This speed is displayed on an LCD. In case the speed of the vehicle is more than that of the safe speed on the highway it alarms, the highway security control unit can then take the necessary action.

The kit mentioned here is “Speed checker and over speed detector for Highways”. This kit is designed and developed by taking into consideration the problem mentioned above. We have used two sensors in this kit. These sensors detect the vehicle's speed. The condition is that the two sensors should be installed at a distance of 100 meters apart from one another.

LCD is connected to this kit. This display will show the vehicle's speed. This Speed Checker for Highway will also intimate the user if the vehicle's speed crossed the maximum speed limit or not. The kit also has a Buzzer. Over’s peed condition is indicated by turning on the Buzzer.
