Description
This kit swipe controller for ppt presentations is designed to provide a unique way to preset a PPT presentation. The slide show is controlled by the movement of the hand over the sensors in different ways. To start the slide show the user has to keep his both hands over the sensors for some interval of time. If the user swipes in hand from sensor 1 to sensor 2, then the slide show moves forward, and so on.
The basic idea of the swipe controller for ppt presentation is the keystrokes sent to the computer. The strokes are sent to the computer with the help of a VB application running on the computer. The application reads the data from the microcontroller via COM port and accordingly sends the keystrokes to the computer.
In the kit swipe controller ppt presentation, there are IR-based sensors connected with the microcontroller. The microcontroller reads the data from these sensors in digital form and generates the output as per the pattern of the data of the sensors. The output generated from the microcontroller is sent to its UART port which is further converted to USB data of the computer. A USB to UART converter is required to do this. The system can be powered up with the USB power supply or alternatively, an external power supply can be used.
