Creating a wooden 4WD racing car is a rewarding project that allows you to explore mechanics and engineering while having fun with a custom-made toy.Hands-On Learning: This project provides hands-on experience in making a functional and enjoyable toy.
Materials:
- Wooden blocks or boards (for the car body)
- Metal dowels or sticks (for the axles)
- Wheels
- Small DC motor
- Screws
- AA Battery Case
- Small screws
- Small Gears and Pully
- Small rubber bands or elastic bands
- Screw Driver
- Switch
Instructions of Assembly:
- Assemble the wooden blocks or boards into the given shape of your racing car. Attach the axles to the car body. Attach the wheels to the axles on each end and make sure the wheels rotate freely. Attach the DC motors with wheels to the axles on each end of the car body. Create the 4WD mechanism using rubber bands or elastic bands. Attach one end of a rubber band to the front axle and the other end to the back axle on the same side as shown in the diagram given.
