GY-273 QMC5883L 3-Axis Magnetic Field Sensor
This module communicates via the I²C serial interface, making it easy to integrate with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded platforms. The sensor uses Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) technology, offering excellent sensitivity, linearity, and very low cross-axis interference. It is capable of measuring both the direction and magnitude of Earth’s magnetic field across a wide range from milli-gauss up to ±8 gauss.
Note: Board markings may vary (for example, some units may be labeled HW-127 instead of GY-273), but the functionality remains identical.

GY-273 QMC5883L 3-Axis Digital Magnetometer Compass Module
The GY-273 module is based on the Honeywell QMC5883L IC, designed for low-field magnetic sensing in applications such as digital compassing and magnetometry. The QMC5883L integrates high-resolution magneto-resistive sensors along with an ASIC that provides signal amplification, automatic degaussing strap drivers, offset cancellation, and a 12-bit ADC, enabling a compass heading accuracy of approximately 1° to 2°.This module communicates via the I²C serial interface, making it easy to integrate with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded platforms.
