Description

XKC-KE200-V DC 5-24V Non-Contact Infrared Sensor

The XKC-KE200-V Non-Contact Infrared Sensor is an intelligent infrared detection switch designed to sense the presence of people or objects without physical contact. Using infrared diffuse reflection technology, it changes its high and low level signal output when an object enters or leaves the detection zone, making it suitable for automatic lighting, touch-free equipment and electronic control systems.

Operating on a DC 5-24V power supply, the sensor features sunlight-interference resistance for indoor and outdoor installations. The specified sensing ranges are 5-200cm indoors, 5-150cm outdoors and 5-100cm in direct sunlight; actual detection distance can vary with the object colour and ambient light.

The sensor includes a rear sensing-distance adjustment button, a response time of 500ms or less, low quiescent current of less than 3.5mA and a PC-V0 flame-retardant housing with IP67 protection. Its threaded panel-mount design provides convenient installation in compatible enclosures and equipment.

Sensing Distance Adjustment

Sensing Distance Adjustment Instructions

Power the sensor and place an approximately 80 × 60cm cardboard target in front of it at the required distance, within 80cm for the adjustment procedure described in the manual.
Open the rear cover and press and hold the adjustment button until the red LED begins flashing.
Wait for the automatic adjustment procedure to finish; the LED stops flashing when adjustment is complete.
Detection distance may vary with target colour and surrounding light conditions.
