The Official Arduino UNO R4 WiFi is the next-generation evolution of the world’s most popular Arduino board. For the first time in the UNO family, this board transitions from an 8-bit AVR architecture to a powerful 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 microcontroller, delivering significantly higher performance, expanded memory, and modern connectivity.

Powered by the Renesas RA4M1 (R7FA4M1AB3CFM) running at 48 MHz, the UNO R4 WiFi features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® 5 through an onboard ESP32-S3-MINI-1 module. A dedicated logic level translator (TXB0108) ensures seamless communication between the 5 V RA4M1 MCU and the 3.3 V ESP32-S3 module.

Maintaining the same UNO R3 form factor, the UNO R4 WiFi is backward-compatible with most existing shields, while introducing exciting new features such as a fully programmable 12×8 LED matrix, CAN bus support, DAC output, RTC, and capacitive touch sensing—making it one of the most feature-rich UNO boards ever released.
