Description
Arduino Data Logger Shield – SD Card & RTC Logging Module
The Arduino Data Logger Shield is a dedicated and well-designed data logging solution for Arduino boards. It is engineered to be inexpensive yet feature-rich, making it ideal for projects that require reliable data recording over time.
The shield supports an SD card interface compatible with FAT16 and FAT32 formatted cards. Built-in 3.3V level shifter circuitry protects the SD card from voltage damage, ensuring stable and safe operation.
An onboard Real-Time Clock (RTC) keeps accurate time even when the Arduino is unplugged, allowing precise time-stamped data logging. Included libraries and example code for both the SD card and RTC help you get started quickly.
The shield also features a prototyping area for soldering additional connectors, sensors, or custom circuitry. An onboard 3.3V voltage regulator provides a stable reference voltage and reliably powers high-current SD cards.
Note: Battery for the RTC is not included with this product.
