This Autonics PR30-15DP DC10~30 15mm M30 Inductive Proximity Sensor PNP-NO Series offers superior noise resistance using a dedicated IC developed by Autonics. Moreover, the series can be used across various industrial applications because it is available in multiple sizes and sensing distances.

This inductive proximity sensor generates an electromagnetic field to detect metal objects with precision. It features built-in sensitivity adjustment and supports non-contact object detection to minimize mechanical wear. While inductive sensors use a magnetic field to sense conductive materials, capacitive sensors use an electric field to detect both conductive and dielectric objects.

Since inductive sensors require metal targets, this type is ideal for detecting ferrous and non-ferrous metal components. Meanwhile, capacitive sensors can detect materials such as plastic, wood, grain, or cardboard, making them suitable for metal and non-metal applications. Therefore, selecting the correct sensor type ensures efficient detection performance in various environments.
