Automatic Side Stand Retrieval System

The Automatic Side Stand Retrieval System is a new safety feature that stops people from riding with the side stand engaged and causing accidents on the road. A lot of two-wheeler accidents happen when the rider forgets to put the stand back in place, which causes the bike to lose balance and skid. When the bike starts to move, this project automatically pulls the side stand back in, making the rider safer.

This mechanical prototype has a sprocket, chain drive, springs, and lever mechanisms. The sprocket system moves the linkage that connects to the side stand as the back wheel turns. The moving chain automatically lifts the stand, so there is no chance of it dragging or touching the ground while riding. The structure is built on a strong welded frame that is perfect for showing off and demonstrating.

The color of the input materials may also change depending on what is available, but the variation does not affect how the product works. The final product won't look as good as the picture since it's just for the student project.
