Description

The circuit can be used to demonstrate the concept of capacitors in series and parallel. If they are connected in series the overall capacitance gets decreased and if connected in parallel, the overall capacitance gets increased. To see the increase or decrease in the values of capacitance we have used the concept of the 'Time Constant' of a capacitor. Time constant represents the time taken by the capacitor to charge/ discharge. Different switches are used here connected the capacitors in series or parallel. We can see the discharging time of the capacitor increases if the capacitance increases and vice versa. For more details please refer to the video.
