Description

The main aim of this DTMF Based Device Controlling System project is to control the house holding electrical devices like fans, electrical bulbs, etc. From anywhere we can control these devices by using mobile phones. This kit is most useful for reducing the wastage of power it is also useful for industrial applications. In this kit, we are using DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) Technology, by using this technology we can control the electrical and electronic devices.

In this kit, we are using two mobile phones, microcontrollers, decoders, relays. In one of the mobile places where we have controlled electrical devices (home), the user can be used another mobile. The main function of this DTMF Based Device Controlling System Project is when the user sends commands from his mobile to another mobile placed at home, after receiving commands and transfers them to the DTMF signal decoder, which converts the signal information into binary codes.

This code sends to relays through a microcontroller, enables or disables the particular electrical device connects to the relay. Here the microcontroller used in this project is AT89S8253, relays are used for breaking the supply, decoder used of type CM8870 IC. Now a day this Cellphone Controlled Home Devices is most useful because of the busy human activities; it can save power and eliminate manual operation.
