Description
Hydraulic Brake System – Project Description
This project shows how a hydraulic braking system works. These systems are often found in cars and motorcycles. The master cylinder turns the mechanical input from the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure when you push it. The pressure moves through the connecting pipe's brake fluid to the wheel cylinder.
The wheel cylinder then pushes the brake pads against the disc, which creates friction and slows down the wheel's rotation. Because hydraulic fluid can't be compressed, the force that is applied is transmitted well. This means that even a small force can create a much larger braking force at the wheel.
