DescriptionFan speed controllers in the system cut the voltage to a fan motor, measure the electromotive force (EMF) of the fan motor after the voltage has been cut, and compare the measured electromotive force (EMF) to a table. In this kit, I am using this same principle to vary the speed of any 1 phase AC motor by varying the phase angle of the applied AC waveform. The phase angle is varied using DIAC and TRIAC only but DIAC and TRIAC are triggered by a logic circuit.
There Mixer glinder speed regulation has two sections of this system; one is the transmitter end and another one is the receiver end. At the transmitter end, there is an encoder IC that encodes the 4-bit data and transmits it with a wireless device working at 315/434 MHz At the receiver end RF receiver receives the data with an antenna and feeds these data to the decoder IC. The decoder IC decodes the data in 4-bit mode and 555 timer ic received the and 555 given data to decade counter ic 4017 and finally speed regulated by traffic IC BT136. In this kit, the main concept is to change the firing angle.
