XKC-Y26S-V-DC 5-24V Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensor

The XKC-Y26S-V-DC 5-24V is a non-contact capacitive liquid level sensor designed for accurate liquid detection through the outer wall of non-metallic containers and pipes. It detects the presence of liquid without direct contact with the medium, making it suitable for sealed containers, corrosive liquids, water tanks, pipelines, and automation systems.

This model operates from DC 5V to 24V and provides a high and low level voltage output interface. It offers high sensitivity, stable performance, adjustable sensing sensitivity, strong anti-interference capability, and IP67 protection.

Working Principle

The sensor works using the capacitive sensing principle. When no liquid is present near the sensing surface, the sensor maintains its normal static capacitance. As the liquid level approaches the sensing point, the liquid introduces additional parasitic capacitance.

The internal control circuit detects this capacitance change and converts it into an electrical signal. When the measured change exceeds the set threshold, the sensor determines that liquid has reached the sensing position and changes its output state.

Gap Requirement Between Sensor and Container Wall

The sensing surface should be attached tightly to the outer wall of the container. Use AB glue or another durable adhesive for secure installation. The gap between the sensor contact surface and the container wall should be less than 0.5mm. For optimum sensing accuracy, no gap is recommended.
