If the patient wants to covey any message he has to move the accelerometer in any predefined manner. The analog data from the accelerometer is given to a comparator; four comparators combine the data in a unique 4-bit format.

This Sensor Based Patient Need Intimation data is transmitted by a 4-bit encoder (HT12E) and RF module wirelessly. At the receiver end, the decoder (HT12D) and RF receiver together decode the 4-bit data and give it to the microcontroller. If the microcontroller receives the proper data, it triggers the buzzer and displays the data on the LCD.
